Yarn is milled at nearby PNW mills, resulting in wonderfully soft, fluffy yarn. Merino wool is some of the softest wool available, with fleeces from Apple Creek Merinos having average fiber diameters ranging from 15-23 microns. Merinos also have very few fibers over 30 microns, meaning the comfort factor is nearly 100%.
